The Magic of Sliding: The Slide Mound is amazing! Donated by Barry Swenson Builders, this play feature offers kids of all abilities a chance to choose from a variety of fun slide rides to the bottom of the hill.

At this all-inclusive playground, everything is wheelchair accessible, for both children and parents!

All ramps are wide, smooth and feel really good on little bare feet since every board is grinded smooth to prevent splinters then coated with our custom tung-oil stains.

Inside the Clubhouse is the "Cafe", with couches & tables with an adorable wooden tea cup and notebook, hand-stained to look real. A great place for kids to meet up, kick back and discuss ideas.

Ava's Bridge is made with rope netting and multicolored redwood posts that match the colors of the Clubhouse - a cheerful way into the play areas.

Ornate touches, such as this window scroll, bring to mind the bygone era when this ship roamed the waters.

Our signature non-toxic tung-oil stain provides a bright and cheerful hue while also protecting the wood from the elements.

A ship’s wheel can be found on both the inside and outside of the vessel to accommodate multiple eager captains.

Watch out for enemy fire as you take charge of the cannons! The HMS Ontario was a warship, after all!

To make the HMS Ontario as authentic as possible, Barbara did extensive research on the original ship and then integrated fun and creative twists to capture kids’ imaginations.

On the side, Dad has to lean over to peek inside the lower level of Romeo's playhouse, while a kid in motion whizzes by the breezeway bridge. These playhouses are sized to be just right for kids and just a little too small for adults!

An easy way up to Juliet's playhouse is a beautiful metal stairway leading to the scroll work metal balcony. Elegant double-arched windows with a turned column in between and a cupola with Spanish tile roof on top create a charming look.

The elegant stucco playhouses looks beautiful from a distance as well.

The rich southwestern colors of the two-story breezeway add a charming and historic touch.

Behind Stucco Playhouse is an intricate "maze" created by Turnberry's landscape team. Romeo's playhouse on the right has an extraordinary faux stone fireplace with chimney--kids love to run across the breezeway bridge through the fireplace opening!

Next door in the cafe, small cooks can get busy creating meals at the built-in kitchen with refrigerator and stove. Need bread? Just roll up the bread box door!

The faux cash register and the many delectable delights spark hours of imaginative play.

Climb up the Ship's Ladder on the back side to access the main deck, or climb up the rock wall to gain access to the rear deck. Designed and built for the 2- to 5-year-old age range, the challenges are just enough to keep them interested but not difficult enough to frustrate.

Carved and applied trims, porthole windows, and decorative spindle railings provide fanciful touches that make little imaginations soar. In addition, there are three masts with a faux crow's nest on top of the center mast.

Kids LOVE Barbara's hand-carved lion as the ship's figurehead, which is also the Ritz Carlton's logo.

The sails can be manually furled or unfurled for a variety. The alternating spindle and hand-woven rope net railings give the ship a very nautical look and feel.

The hand-crafted lion figurehead is both whimsical and incredibly detailed.

A hand-carved and stained "Providencia" sign hangs on the back of the ship, along with two hand-carved and stained faux lanterns above.

Despite its small footprint, the Jefferson features a wide range of things to do for active youngsters, including a rock climbing wall, slide, tunnel, rope net climb, fire fighter pole, and ship’s wheel.

An open slide comes off the 5' high upper deck, providing a fun, fast way down.

A child’s view from the TOPS Treehouse feels vast and expansive. Our hand-lashed woven-rope netting provides safety without obstructing the sight lines, which also allows for thorough supervision by preschool staff. We are happy to report that children and adults alike have had an enthusiastic response to the new structure!

The lower 5-sided, irregular-shaped deck is 4' high with approximate dimensions of 4' wide by 6.5" long, for 25 square feet of play space. The upper deck is 5' high with approximate dimensions of 8' x 8' for 64 square feet of play space. Of course, the tree through the middle of the deck does takes up some of the room!

As seen from the eyes of the 2- to 5-year-olds who go to this school, Tops Treehouse is packed with fun, challenging play activities!
